Patrick Pait
Founder 2010-Present/President 2010-2014
Patrick Pait is a founder of the NJIT Robotics Club and it’s first President (2010-2014). He and his two brothers currently own and operate KoN Corporation which is a tech, media, and productions company. His vision is to create a sustainable robotics club for NJIT that will thrive for as long as the college exists. His predecessors give him a confidence that the club will continue on and prosper in its robotic endeavors.

Michael Lowry
Founder 2010-Present
Michael Lowry is a Founder of the NJIT Robotics Club. It was mainly Patrick’s and his idea and vision to take a few people hanging out on the NJIT Campus and start the NJIT Robotics Club. Mikes innovation and technical knowledge is what truly helps make up the back bone of the club. He will forever be known as the Great Robotic Innovator, by the NJIT Robotics Club and it’s members.

Mike Van Aman
Founder 2010-Present / Vice President 2010-2014
Mike Van Aman a founder of the NJIT Robotics Club and it’s first Vice President (2010-2014). Absolutely loyal to the club and was Patrick’s right hand man during his term in office. Mike always made sure the club ran smoothly and operated to its full capacity. He specialized in programming, set a good foundation for future programmers to follow, and contributed countless hours and resources to the club.

Ngoc Phan
Founder 2010-Present
Ngoc Phan, one of our key founders, will always be considered a priceless asset to the NJIT Robotics Club. The club would not be what it is today if it wasn’t for her wisdom and guidance which helped NJIT Robotics Club begin its journey. Ngoc has always gone above and beyond what was required of her and is one of the clubs greatest role models. Her example is inspiring to other members of the club and its administration and will help propel the success of NJIT Robotics Club for years to come.

Sebastien Nunez
President 2016-2018
Sebastien is a Computer Engineering student skilled in Robotics. He enjoys constructing robots and tinkering with current designs to get the best out of each robot. As President, he hopes to expand the club to accommodate bigger projects with autonomous operation and projects focusing on larger competitions. Along with project expansion, he hopes that the club can acquire tools to make construction easier such as a 3D printer. Outside of the club, Sebastien enjoys playing the violin, reading, and taking apart old electronics.

Brandan Balasingham
Vice President 2016-2017
Brandan is an Electrical Engineering student skilled in automation and robot design. He enjoys working on all aspects of robotics such as electronics, programming. and construction. As Vice President, he hopes to keep projects running more fluid and kept up to date with bi-weekly project updates. He also hopes to increase the retention rate of students through the semester. Outside of the club, Brandan enjoys tinkering with electronics, researching about AI, trading stocks, and playing soccer.

Shouri Fukura
Secretary 2016-
Shouri Fukura is an Electrical Engineering student with a minor in Applied Statistics. Joining the NJIT Robotics Club out of interest and ambitions in electronics, he soon became an active member. He plans on building his own product and company after graduation using his knowledge he has gained through the various experience he has gained within the university and the club. As secretary, he wants to increase the number of projects within the club and efficiency within each of the project teams. During his free time, Shouri enjoys watching YouTube videos to see the latest computer tech and parts, especially on LinusTechTips.

Brandt Dillon
Treasurer 2016-
Brandt Dillon is a Mechanical Engineering student skilled in mechanical design through the use of CAD software. After joining the Robotics club, he used his knowledge to aid in the construction of the club’s competition robots. This included the design of a lift system, a slip gear that was 3-D printed for a catapult mechanism, and later the entire design of the club’s robot in the 2016 Vex Starstruck competition. As treasurer of the club he works to keep the smooth operation of the club, ensuring new and existing projects get the necessary supplies on time. In his spare time, Brandt enjoys playing video games and various artistic endeavors, including programming his own computer game.

Michael Euceda
Marketing Manager 2016-
Michael Euceda is an Electrical Engineering student with a minor in Applied Mathematics. He is an active member of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. as President and as past Secretary. He joined NJIT Robotics Club with his friends as a way to further his knowledge in the Robotics field. What he quickly found was a fun and interactive environment in which students can work together to build and create. As Marketing Manager, Michael plans on promoting the ideals and images of the club and find ways to spark a bigger interest for Robotics at NJIT. Michael enjoys playing video games in his spare time.

Marek Gozdz
Quartermaster 2016-
Marek is a Mechanical Engineering Technology student with a minor in Electrical Engineering. He enjoys tinkering with electronics or tools, as well as helping his father remodel homes in his spare time. As Quartermaster, he hopes to help future members enjoy being part of the club, learn new skills that could help them in the future, and teach them how to use these skills and any tools safely. He also intends to make sure the room stays organized so everyone can find what they need to get their projects done.

Justin Joseph
President 2014-2016
Justin is an Electrical Engineering major and an active electronics tinkerer. As an expert on computers and electrical engineering basics, he is an active member of the IEEE and Tau Beta Pi, as well as the NSCS and DEI honor societies, and will contribute his electrical expertise to the club. Justin has Robotics experience from high school, lending to his efforts to greatly develop the NJIT Robotics Club. As current Club President, he plans to create many projects for members to complete, with emphasis on building robots from scratch parts and participating in large official competitions. In his spare time, Justin enjoys repairing and building computers and working on building his own Iron Man suit.

Nick Fratianni
Vice President 2015-2016
Nick Fratianni is a Mechanical Engineering Technology student skilled in Mechanical Design and Robotics. He enjoys designs projects in CAD software, and then bringing that design to life. As Vice President, he hopes to continue to pass along his knowledge and understanding of robotics as well as team working abilities to all members. In addition to teaching robotics, he hopes to help expand the club to new heights. On the side, Nick is a Volunteer Firefighter in his hometown. He also enjoys designing and building longboards to then test out and ride around the town.

Renato Pasion
Treasurer 2015-2016
Renato Pasion is a Biomedical Engineering student skilled in Robotics. He hopes to use his degree to help him become a certified prosthetist and orthotist. He joined the NJIT Robotics Club just for fun and interest, but within a year he became a very productive member in the club, assisting in the building and improving the club’s robots. As an administrative member he is primarily in charge of keeping inventory of the room’s supplies and maintaining the upkeep of the club room and its robots.

Bryant Perdomo
Marketing Manager 2015-2016
Bryant Perdomo is an Applied Physics major and is the fundraising chair of Alpha Sigma Phi. He plans on perusing his PhD In astrophysics and having a career in solar terrestrial research. As the Marketing Manager of the Robotics Club, Bryant plans on promoting the image and ideals of the club. He would like to continue his involvement in robotics from high school while passing on his experience to all members. He also plans on incorporating new and interesting ways for member recruitment. Bryant is an avid paintball player and is currently working on his own patent. He also enjoys repairing computers and playing video games.

Timothy Kwaak
Quartermaster 2015-2016
Tim Kwaak is a Mechanical Engineering Technology student skilled in Mechanical Design, Drafting, Assembly, and Robotics. He is an active member of Tau Delta Phi Fraternity as Vice President and past Scribe. He enjoys designing projects in CAD softwares, building computers, and all kinds of handy work. As Quartermaster, he hopes to further educate future members of the club with his knowledge and implementation of robotics to help the club grow. In Tim’s free time, he is a Volunteer Firefighter in his hometown, an active Eagle Scout with his Boy Scout troop, and an intermural rugby player.

Jhon Guzarem
Project Manager 2015-2016
Jhon Guzarem is a Mechanical Engineering student with a minor in Applied Physics. He plans to continue his study for a Master’s and pursue a career in space flight. He was an active member of his high school robotics club and has chosen to continue throughout college. He hopes to optimize the project/DIY work of the club. He also want to help make running the club easier. Jhon enjoys playing video games in his spare time.

Mariah Haubrich

Mariah is a Biomedical Engineering major and instrumentation enthusiast. She is a member of the Honors BMES – Alpha Mu Beta Chapter and will contribute her biomedical expertise to the club. Mariah has great note-taking and leadership experience, lending to her efforts to greatly develop the NJIT Robotics Club. As past Club Secretary, she improved the efficiency and documentation of the club, helping to effectively improve the club’s plans and actions. In her spare time, Mariah enjoys reading science articles, hiking, martial arts, and working out at the gym.

Nick Scherer
Secretary 2014-2015
Nicholas Scherer is a Mechanical Engineering student and a member of the ASME student chapter at NJIT. After completing his Bachelor’s degree, he plans to continue his studies at NJIT for a Master’s. He is interested in the design and production of robotics. Nicholas joined the club in order to become more familiar with robotics in a hands-on environment. As the Secretary of the NJIT Robotics Club, he plans to help improve the organization and structure of the club. He is eager to expand the club and it’s on campus presence with the help of the other officers.

Chris Gatson
Treasurer 2014-2015
Chris Gatson is a Mechanical Engineering student and an active member of the ASME Student Chapter at NJIT. Upon completion of his bachelor’s degree, he plans to pursue a Masters in mechanical engineering. His primary interests include 3D modeling and simulation, as well as the design and implementation of mechanisms and mechanical components. Chris joined the NJIT Robotics Club eager to learn aspects of robotics while helping others understand the mechanical design aspect. He hopes to help push the club to new heights utilizing his mechanical background. Specifically, he hopes to work firsthand on the design and development of new robots for the club.

Nyija Butler
Assistant Vice President 2015-2015
Nyija Butler is a Mechanical Engineer student who is an inspiring pilot. Her future goals are to have a career working with robots and planes and eventually creating businesses in those fields in hopes of owning her own plane. By being Vice President, not only is she looking to expand her knowledge of designing, programming, and building robots, but she wants to do the same for her fellow members. She will help bring new ideas and assist in conducting different events. By working with the other officers, she’s looking forward to helping the growth of the club.

Anthony Risorto
Secretary 2013-2014
Anthony Risorto was a former Secretary of the NJIT Robotics Club. He contributed all he could in the one term he held in its administration. He made sure the club upheld its duties to NJIT. Also he helped make sure all the requirements for the club were met so it could continue on without any interruptions.

Shadi Saliby
Treasurer 2013-2014
Shadi Saliby was the a former treasurer of the club. In his time in office he always made sure the financials were on point and accounted for. He created many opportunities for the club to get involved in such as the MED missions challenge.
